New LinkedIn group for 3PL Service Provider Management Professionals

LinkedIn is the world's largest professional network on the Internet and has more than 562 million members worldwide, including executives from every Fortune 500 Company and every 3PL service provider on the Armstrong and Associates Top 50 Global Third-Party Logistics Providers (3PLs) List

Whilst there are many thousands of groups on LinkedIn that cover 3PL service provider and logistics management I have recently established the 3PL Service Provider Management Professionals Group.

3PL Service Provider Management Professionals Group is a network of logistics professionals who manage outsourced logistics services. The primary aim of the group is to candidly share information about the 3PL service providers that they actively manage.

This group has been set up exclusively for logistics professionals who manage outsourced logistics services - 3PL service providers will not be allowed to join or market their services in this LinkedIn group.

The objective of the group is for members to share information about the 3PL service providers (international freight forwarders and couriers, warehouse and transportation services) that they are using or looking to use in the future.

The group has been established to provide a forum for members to openly discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the various 3PL service providers operating within the 3PL marketplace.

The goal of the group is for it to become the "go to" source of information for researching and validating 3PL service providers capabilities and performance.
