According to the Herald Sun, the Toll Group, owned by Japan Post, will cut up to 200 management, support and back office staff from its Australian operations.
The Australian Financial Review also reported a similar story saying and that Toll Group was targeting job cuts as a result of an earnings slump.
This news come on the back of a recent media release where the group outlined recent top level personnel changes
Long time Managing Director Brian Kruger has “retired” and will be replaced by former LinFox and Coates Hire CEO Michael Byrne.
John Mullen has been appointed executive Chairman and the current CEO of the Toll Global Forwarding division Paul Coutts, will also leave the group to join SingPost as Group Chief Executive.
Prior to the his role at Toll Global Forwarding Coutts held a number of senior management positions at Deutsche Post DHL Group
